Ephe-sysrpl
Ephe-sysrpl is a modified version of Ephe (by Jean Philippe Eimer).
Ephe-sysrpl is the work of Khanh-Dang NGUYEN THU LAM
(email: kdntl, domain=yahoo.fr).
Most routines have been converted to SysRPL, hence a (much) faster program.
Just download to your HP49G/G+ or HP50G the file
ephe-version-lang.lib49.
The library works exactly like the original Ephe, so please refer to the documentation of Ephe. Here are functions that differs with the original Ephe:
- Ephe-sysrpl is much (much!) faster.
- You cannot switch between languages with Ephe-sysrpl, while Ephe can.
(For speed efficiency purposes and a smaller program.)
- Entering a place which is a integer but given as a real number is correctly handled.
You should take care about not using Ephe-sysrpl with an "Ephe" directory created by the original version or any previous version of Ephe-sysrpl.
I have never succeeded in crashing the calc while using Ephe-sysrpl.
But as always, you should backup your memory before testing a new program.
Download and changelog
- September, 26th 2007
- ephe-2.13s0.zip (< 63 KB): syncing with the original Ephe 2.13 (bug fixing).
I haven't tested this version yet.
- February, 6th 2006
- ephe-2.12s0.zip (< 63 KB): syncing with the original Ephe 2.12 (now handles any date format).
- January, 24th 2006
- ephe-2.11s2.zip
- There is now one file for each language. The program is smaller (around 62 KB), and much faster, as the translation routine slowed down all the library.
- Bug fix: rise/set of stars failed when the star doesn't rise or set
- Bug fix: Galilean satellites computing was totally wrong.
- December, 7th 2005
- ephe211s-1.lib49 (70.5 KB): faster on nutation correction. Smaller.
- December, 6th 2005
- ephe211s-0.lib49 (71.5 KB): syncing with the new version of Ephe. Only minor modifications about flags handling.
- December, 5th 2005
- ephe210s-3.lib49 (71.5 KB): fixes the bug which appeared when activating RTS mode. Some more optimizations.
- December, 4th 2005
- ephe210s-2.lib49 (72 KB): some more optimizations.
- December, 3rd 2005
- ephe210s-1.lib49 (73 KB): fixing the bug when displaying coordinates in hms mode.
- November, 29th 2005
- ephe210s-0.lib49 (73 KB): the library to be downloaded on your HP49
